Wedding Day

So the day of the royal wedding, there was really no escaping it haha. I'm not going to lie I loved it, and how amazing was THE dress?! Seeing as I adore anything lacey or with a hint of 50s inspiration you can tell I was very jealous!

The scenes that were on the tele today were so moving, just to see that even in this day and age (whatever that's meant to mean ha) all the people that have come together to celebrate the love of two people they've never met, oh good times. I'm sure there will be far more eloquent descriptions of the sense of national 'coming-togetherness' I'm trying to express ha.

Yup, the post the I accidently published yesterday.

I wore this shopping when I went in search of a new pair of sandals. Shoe shopping is something that I honestly dread due to the fact that my feet are huge, (a size 8 or 9, cue audible gasp ha) they're also really narrow and I have no arch so I can't wear anything without a strap across the top. But do not fret I found some!

I like wearing maxi skirts/dresses, I feel much more mysterious and graceful, although just because I feel it doesn't mean I look it, as proved by when I nearly tripped over my skirts going up the stairs in UO, yep I'm that hip I call it UO now.

School tomorrow, and I've just realised I've lost my storyboard for my media project. Yay.

Falling into the abyss with a flailing heart

Once again I come with another dress! I rediscovered this little beauty when I was sorting through my 'summer clothes' which were in a box under bed and I have fallen in love ha. The light cotton is perfect for this insane heat and the amount of fabrics allows me to waft around still, a requirement for most of my clothing.

Oh and I just published a post by accident so ignore that haha

Pfft totally did not trip over that hose while racing against the ten second timer.

Another day, another dress and another collar. Come on, you can't blame me haha, it's not often we get good weather like this in England. I wore this yesterday. Had a splendid day at the beach today. A round of my fascinating life for you. Oh, I've suddenly had a random slight surge of new followers so, HEY nice to meet you haha.

I got this dress from Primark a while ago, and I'm sure we're all well aware of the ethical issues surrounding Primark something that I'm not oblivious to so I'm trying to steer clear of it but when I saw this number I caved. The collar and the skirt is a really pretty silky material.

What I wore a couple of days ago, I brought this dress when I went to Camden in the summer last year. It's so crazy that was ages ago but it really doesn't feel like it, I have no idea where the year has gone, which is somewhat worrying haha.

Anyway, I've had this dress stored up for a while because the weather has never been good enough, but woah here's the sun so out comes this dress. I got quite overexcited when I saw it, I mean come on it has a lace collar, floral print and shoulder pads. I'm a sucker for shoulder pads, apart from the awful one's in my school blazer haha.

I apologise for my prolonged blogging absence but I have actually been skiing with the school in Austria the past week! I had an awesome time and I'm so lucky to have to come back to this glorious weather!

I also apologise for the very uninformative post below, I had a whole little speech planned for my blog birthday, but I ran out of time before I had to leave so literally posted those pictures straight from my phone at the start of my 27 hour coach journey.

What I wore yesterday, and just to confirm, yes those are a different pair of tights (I have two the same). I've got into the habit of throwing on a pretty dress and a blazer, I like blazers they're not a coat but not a cardigan, crazy thinking there I know. I get the distinct feeling blazers are very last year haha but as you can see by this particular number cropping up in posts I'm still liking my blazer.

I'm off to the theatre tomorrow night, I know, cultural. So I'll see if I can get a shot of my outfit!

What I wore yesterday for a day with the gang and then a meal at Nando's (I pretty much live there). This is my St. Michaels blazer I picked up at the vintage fair a few weeks ago, I never knew it before but I have been missing a velvet blazer in my life, although I do feel a little like Willy Wonka. Actually I quite like that. I also got this headband from topshop in the sale for five pounds, pretty much the only thing I could afford haha, it keeps my ears nice and warm.
